چکیده
Statement of interest Different studies show (e.g., [1]) that over 80% of today’s innovations in the automotive industry are based on car electronics and its software. These innovations can be categorized into hidden technologies (e.g., ASP, ESP), comfort functions (e.g., navigation, communication, entertainment) or driver assistance (e.g., distance checking). Especially the last two categories have to be configurable by the driver and therefore require a certain amount of driver interaction. This results in a need for a modern and consistent human-machine-interface (HMI) which on one hand allows the configuration of these systems but which on the other hand conforms to the specialized requirements of the automotive industry. Some of these requirements are: The interaction devices have to be integrated into a limited space. The HMI has to be intuitively usable and adaptable, since drivers generally do not get an extensive explanation. The HMI has to be very easy to use and should distract the driver as little as possible from his main task of driving.

Investigation of Emissions and Energy Consumption of DENA Hybrid Electric Vehicle
Nowadays, environmental pollution is increasing more and more and in the big cities, because of the concentration of the population, is more intense. Air pollution in the big cities has become a serious problem especially in Iran. High fossil fuel consumption of vehicles is a major cause to increase in the amount of air pollution. Using new technology of powertrain, like other developed countri...

This paper presents an attitude control algorithm for a Reusable Launch Vehicle (RLV) with a low lift/drag ratio (L/D < 0.5), in the presence of external disturbances, model uncertainties, control output constraints and the thruster model. The main novelty of proposed control strategy is a new combination of the attitude control methods included backstepping, dynamic inversion and adaptive cont...

This paper aims to investigate a new and intricate behavior of immediate follower during the lane change of leader vehicle. Accordingly, the mentioned situation is a transient state in car following behavior during which the follower vehicle considerably deviates from conventional car following models for a limited time, which is a complex state including lateral and longitudinal movement simul...
متن کاملStability of Three-Wheeled Vehicles with and without Control System
In this study, stability control of a three-wheeled vehicle with two wheels on the front axle, a three-wheeled vehicle with two wheels on the rear axle, and a standard four-wheeled vehicle are compared. For vehicle dynamics control systems, the direct yaw moment control is considered as a suitable way of controlling the lateral motion of a vehicle during a severe driving maneuver. In accorda...
